Bloomfield, N.Y., May 2023 – Terphane (www.terphane.com), a leader in PET films (polyester) in Latin America and an important global player, with operations in Brazil and USA, will present innovative solutions in polyester (PET) films, during the interpack (May 4th to May 10th, 2023), the company will showcase its latest innovations, including the Ecophane product line, which uses up to 35% post-consumer recycled PET resin for food-grade applications. In addition, the company will promote its Sealphane line of sealable films, highlighting the launch of the new Resealphane line, which is a resealable structure (opens and closes multiples times). The company will be located in the ‘Think Plastic’ area – Hall 7.1 – Booth 71D07.
Terphane offers a complete solution in BOPET films: transparent, metallized and coating films, as well as the Sealphane® and the Ecophane® product lines. Both lines will be highlighted at interpack 2023. The Sealphane® line of heat sealable films innovates with the introduction of the Resealphane®, a high performance resealable film, easy to be processed and implemented in existing packaging lines without new investments. The innovation about this new film is that it can open and reclose multiple times, it is tamper evidence, guarantees the complete opening of the packaging and is sustainable.
The sustainable Ecophane® line has films with PCR (post consumer recycled content) and BIO (biodegradable). The rPET PCR films can have up to 35% of recyclable content and the biodegradable films degradates in landfill conditions. Both films are approved for food contact by Anvisa (Brazil), FDA (USA) and EFSA (Europe).
